The detection of old submerged ammunition that is located on or below the seabed important preparatory work for offshore projects. Multibeam echosounder, side scan sonar, subbottom profiler and magnetometers are sensor types most commonly used task. Survey design decisions center around both campaign efficiency sufficient data quality to find specific reference objects. paper presents a comprehensive workflow unexploded ordnance surveys in sea focuses aspects quantitative control. For this purpose, factors corresponding threshold values were developed each main types. authors designed moderated workshop-based stakeholder engagement process establish expert consensus suitable appropriate calculation thresholds define which not.
